Greetings from Uganda!
*From the Bukeeras*
A few things to pray for…
1. On Sunday we will be rejoicing with ten of our church people who will be getting baptised! Another two will also be welcomed into church membership! Thank the Lord that he is growing his local body of believers here in Ssenge.
2. Please pray for provision to complete and equip the new church kitchen and storage area that is being built in our garden. This is a medium term solution as we seek to transition church out of our home - it’s going to take some time to raise funds to build on the land we’ve purchased for a church building. The storage will help us to be able to move church equipment from our garage, and the kitchen will give a covered area where we can cater for large functions. We hope that even if not complete, the kitchen will be useable by Sunday as we prepare food to celebrate the baptisms!
3. Please pray for Zephaniah who is struggling to feed. It’s been a tough first few weeks with our fifth baby. Pray that he may gain weight. Thank the Lord for all the support we’ve had from a whole variety of people. We’ve been so grateful for those who have provided meals, given medical wisdom, and others who have shown care and support in many practical ways.
4. Praise God for Heidi’s mum (Carol) who has come to Uganda to help out for the next six weeks! We are very grateful for her enthusiastic and willing help and support at this time.
5. Our cooker was deemed ‘no longer safe for our family’ on Tuesday. It has been repaired multiple times over the years, and has served our family, visitors, and church people very well! Pray we may be able to find a suitable replacement with a gas oven (most 90cm cookers here have an electric oven - this is fairly useless with the amount of power cuts we have!)
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our family and church planting ministry here in Uganda.
A few pictures, and a little video of the church kitchen, are coming up…
With much love,
Bosco and Heidi xxx
