What’s on for Children (0-11s) ?

Sundays

On the second Sunday of the month the children attend the All-Age Worship Service at 11 am in the Memorial Hall, across the road from the church building.

On all other Sundays at our 11 am service, the children and young people split into age groups.

STOMP groups cover all children 11 and under.

  • Sowers - under 3s (those able to walk independently can stay without a parent)

  • Seekers - preschool children

  • Diggers - Reception and Year 1 children

  • Rockers - Years 2 and 3 children

  • Ravers - Years 4 - 6 children

STOMP provides age-appropriate bible teaching and activities and it is great fun!

During the week

Small Saints is our service for under 5s and their carers. It takes place in the church on the first Wednesday of the month from 9.15 am – 9.45 am with tea and coffee afterwards.

Angels happens on Thursdays in the Old Village Hall from 1.30 pm – 3.15 pm in term time. The cost is £1.50, which covers drinks, snacks and the cost of hiring the hall.

What’s on for young people (11+) ?

Sunday Mornings

Young people are welcome at all our services. At our 11am service, the whole church family meets together for the first 20 minutes and then there is a STOMP group (called Watchers) for those in school years 7-10 (ages 11-14 approximately). This is a chance to explore the bible with other young people, play games, eat food and find out how Jesus’ message applies to us today.

Weekly

Pulse+ is a group for 14-18 year olds that happens every Friday at The Rectory from 7.45pm to 9.30pm. This involves games, bible teaching, prayer and discussion and gives the opportunity for young people to ask their tricky questions, find out about Jesus and grow as they seek to follow him. There are also various socials each term.

If you would like to know more about the various groups and activities for children or young people, you can contact our Children and Families Worker, Sam Upham, on 01823 251741 (email samupham@gmail.com) or our Youth Worker, Fran Youings, on 07939 018853 or email francesca.youings@virgin.net
