[Sundays] [Mid-week] [Table of Sunday Services] [Services at Angersleigh]
Sunday Services
At All Saints, we have developed a wide variety of services to enable people of all ages and Christian experience to come together to hear God’s Word explained, to pray together and to celebrate God’s love and grace shown to us in Jesus Christ. The following will help you make sense of the different services.
For details of our current Sermon Themes click here.
8am Communion (weekly)
A traditional service following the Book of Common Prayer, with a short sermon and no hymns.
9am Morning Worship (weekly)
A more formal service led mainly by organ and robed choir, most weeks using modern Common Worship Liturgy, except for the 1st Sunday when the order is from the Book of Common Prayer. There is Holy Communion on 2nd Sunday.
11am All-Age Worship (weekly)
This service seeks to be all-age and relevant to all, whether experienced as a Christian or just exploring. The worship is led by a music group and draws on the best of contemporary and traditional music. The preaching series seek to explain and apply the Bible to our everyday living and experience. On all but the 2nd Sunday, children have teaching and activities in their age-specific groups (0-3s, 3-5s and STOMP), though adults and children spend about 15 minutes together in church. For more details click here.
All Age Worship (1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays): children and adults worship together for 15 minutes at the beginning of the service then children go to their groups.
All Age Service in Trull Memorial Hall (2nd Sunday): children and adults stay together for the whole service.
All Age Worship with Communion 4th Sunday): children and adults stay in church together till after communion then children go to their groups.
6.30 pm Evening Services
There are a variety of services through the month:
Common Worship Holy Communion with prayer & laying on of hands (1st Sunday): a quiet reflective service, with the opportunity to be prayed for by members of our prayer team at the communion rail.
|
INFORM (2nd & 4th Sundays at 7.30pm in Trull School Hall opposite the church): a contemporary, informal and multi-media service, looking at contemporary issues from a Biblical perspective.
| |
Evensong (3rd Sunday): a traditional service from the Book of Common Prayer, often with sung responses.
|
Mid-week Services
A service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer is held every Wednesday at 11am.
‘Small Saints’ Under 5s Service is held on the 1st Wednesday in the month from 9.15am – 9.45am.
